Nanne Meyer works primarily in drawing and is Professor at the Art Academy Berlin Weissensee.
Her work is directly linked to her own personal process of seeing, experiencing and reflecting upon the world, mediated through an experimental sensibility. Recent work relates to clouds and views out of the aeroplane, as well as work on geographical borders and what they look like when reduced to a line on the page of an atlas.
She has been the recipient of numerous awards. Her work is exhibited widely and is contained in many collections.
