
Petra Matthews-Crow
Petra Matthews-Crow is an art teacher, specialising in 3D, and a resident of Dover. She has been key to many initiatives, in partnership with DAD, involving young people. She participated in the DAD Park Bench project 2018/19 with a line of her poetry being picked for inclusion on one of the Park Benches in Kearsney Abbey. She is currently Council Member for NSEAD (the National Society for Education in Art, Craft and Design), the leading authority for art education in the UK. She is an Arts Award Gold adviser and has many years’ experience of working on Arts Award at Bronze to Gold levels. Petra recently co-founded Ceramic Art Dover (CAD) with Lisa Oulton from Future Foundry and delivered Claydate in Dover in June 2019. She is a member of the Dover Big Local Executive Committee and in that role leads on arts and culture.
