TUNE IN TO DAD RADIO
DAD RADIO IN PARTNERSHIP WITH DOVER COMMUNITY RADIO
A key component of the DAD Digital Festival is the continuation of the DAD RADIO programme in partnership with Dover Community Radio (broadcasting via dcrfm.co.uk), a radio segment providing a platform for sound art, music, spoken word and local arts-led conversation connected to Dover and its community. DAD RADIO is curated by Dover-born artists Louisa Love and Louise Webb and was piloted thanks to funding from Dover Big Local and Kent County Council.
“Amongst the exciting artist commissions of DAD’s Digital Festival, we are delighted to continue DAD RADIO in partnership with DCR, as a new way to connect with our community, support local discussion and activity, and showcase to the world how much high-quality creative practice exists in Dover”.
Louisa Love, Artist and DAD RADIO Curator
TUNE IN to DAD RADIO on DCR FM Friday evenings 7-7.30pm / Monday mornings 9-9.30am. Listen via the yellow button below or the Radio Garden global listening app.
New festival episodes will be broadcast twice per month (in the 2nd and 4th week of each month) starting 16th July – and you can hear repeats of our pilot shows in the weeks in-between. The DDF21 DAD RADIO programme will feature some guest-hosted shows plus additional one-off radio specials.
