The drawing and stitching workshops taking place at each partner venue  inspired by the World War I artefacts and connections are a key feature of the ‘joined up’ project. The workshops are being led by skilled artists Rosie James and Marcia Teusink and are free and open to museum volunteers and other members of the public. They generally run over a full day with drawing taking place in the morning, with Marcia, and bunting making in the afternoon with Rosie.

The individual pennants produced during the project, inspired by the morning drawing sessions, will be sewn together and given to each venue to use at their WW1 events and also as part of the collective, district-wide, events to commemorate the end of WW1 in 2018.
