Creating New Spaces – Sharing Stories
Louise Webb is running a series of interactive workshops inspired by imaginary spaces in nature. Playing with the idea of escapism that gardens and controlled nature can create and cultivate, participants will explore and document the way the parks are navigated using creative mapping. Participants will create new names and meanings for sections of the Kearsney Parks and have an opportunity to discuss these with other participants, to share stories and memories of the space and thus create a new social history and map of the parks.
When: 21, 23 and 24 August from 10am – 3pm. You don’t have to come along for the whole event – just pop by when you like.
Meet outside Kearsney Abbey Cafe
Materials will be supplied.
