DAD RADIO | call for contributions

DAD RADIO

DAD is inviting contributions to DAD RADIO from all members of the Dover community and local area.

Dover Arts Development (DAD) is working with Dover Community Radio (DCR) to pilot DAD RADIO, an exciting new series of radio programmes dedicated to showcasing sound art & music, poetry, spoken word and local arts-led conversation inspired by Dover.

From April 2021, we are opening up DAD’s audio archives and reaching out to the local community to co-create a series of themed radio broadcasts exploring creative topics of relevance to Dover, its stories and the lives of its residents.

This opportunity is open to everyone – whether you have experience with radio / audio content or not we want to hear from you!

We are seeking short contributions of audio content of up to 5 mins duration (approx.) to be included in DAD RADIO shows. We are open to a variety of content; this could take the form of sound recordings, audio compositions, original music, poetry, spoken word, writings, readings, recorded performances, podcast extracts…

To submit audio files or writing for consideration please download & complete this DAD RADIO contributor consent form and send it to us along with your audio files via Wetransfer.com to radio@dadonline.uk

For any enquiries, assistance with submitting your contribution or to request a contributor consent form directly via email, please contact radio@dadonline.uk

DAD RADIO programmes will be broadcast on Dover Community Radio (DCR) at www.dcrfm.co.uk and via the Tune-In and Radio Garden apps/websites.

Broadcasts will commence on Friday 9th April 2021 at 7pm.
