Exhibition organised by Dover Museum Youth Group

Schools and arts award

The Watermark project has just become more visible in the town with an exhibition of items from Dover Museum’s collection of Buckland Mill artefacts organised by the Museum’s Youth Group. The exhibition will be on display in the Centurion House Box Gallery, in Bench Street through March and April. It has already attracted alot of interest from passers-by who we hope will be encouraged to visit the story shop and share their memories about Buckland Mill.

The items on show include dandy rolls used for making the watermark, beaters, the Conqueror banner, old photographs, paper items … you wouldn’t believe it on looking but all the items out of paper are photocopies or reconstructed from photocopies as conditions in the gallery are too damp to show originals.
