Fantastic bunting pennants made by the Sawl Family
The third bunting forever workshop took place in the DAD studio this afternoon. Bunting pennants are coming in from all over Dover and beyond and many people who don’t knit themselves have been contributing unused wool as well as old jumpers for turning into felt. Some absolutely wonderful felt flags were made during the workshop by the Sawl Family, featuring abstract designs as well as delightlful animal motifs.
The next workshop is on 8 October from 10.00 – 2.00pm at Shepherdswell village Hall alongside the Macmillan coffee morning and craft fair and then again on 29 October in the DAD studio.
The workshops are free and no experience is needed – if you want to learn to knit or crochet, come along to a workshop and help us achieve our goal of creating a mile of bunting to welcome the Olympic Torch to Dover.
