Shortlisted for the Award for Excellence
We are very pleased to announce that Dover Arts development (DAD) has been shortlisted for the Culture Awards Award of Excellence for its Documentary Feature Film WATERMARK. The Award for Excellence is for a cultural practitioner or collaborative group of practitioners working in East Kent that has created a new work of high quality within the last twelve months.
WATERMARK is directed by Marianne Kapfer with Sound design and original sound score by Robert Jarvis, it is written and edited by Marianne Kapfer and Dominic de Vere and Produced by DAD
The film is a meditation on the relationships and values that develop within the industrial built environment over multiple generations, serving a common vision and goal.
For WATERMARK to become one of the 3 shortlisted projects is a testament to all of you who have played your part in the making of this wonderful film.
The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony on Thursday 21 June 2012 at Augustine House, Rhodaus Town, Canterbury, Kent, CT1 2YA. Tickets will go on sale on Monday 16 April.
There is a special preview of WATERMARK arranged by the School of Social Policy and Social Research (SSPSSR) at the University of Kent on Wednesday, 9th May 2012 at 4pm at the Gulbenkian Cinema, Canterbury CT2 7NB.
